The covid pandemic finally showed signs of abating. Travel corridors were opening up. It was time for Cathay to showcase their new and more flexible economy class fares. However, the situation was still unpredictable and the airline industry had taken a huge hit over the past year. The client was cautious. Budget was limited. The expectation was a dry, educational-style video with simple animation.
We decided to have a little fun with it.
As we all know, planning a group holiday can be a pain as we try to satisfy everyone's different needs. In our video, this nightmarish task takes place via an online chat group, and as the conversation unfolds, we get to see how Cathay's new fare system comes to the rescue by offering a little something to satisfy everyone.
